Mom's Date with...Herself: An Ode to Barnes and Noble

So a few times now I have needed to get out of the house. I am not gonna give you my sad and wallowing story but, suffice it to say, I needed a break. I would go work out at night but found I was wide awake and still hadn't blown off all the steam my day had created. I decided to go to Barnes and Noble for a couple of reasons. First, and most importantly, it was still open. Secondly, it was a place where I could read (something I have been doing a lot of recently). I went in and got a copy of Twilight and a couple of magazines to read and sat in the most comfy arm chair on earth. I realize there were tons of people there doing what I was doing. I was tempted to go get a blueberry scone from Starbucks but decided that would negate the workout I just took part in. It was awesome just sitting there, reading and not being interrupted. How I love B&N. I f I could write a poem I would, but I can't so "I love you" will have to do. Who knew I would love dating myself so much? (Also a prize goes out to my awesome husband who understands the need I have to go and be by myself)
