Do you ever find yourself thinking, 'Gee, I am really dumb! I had no idea that nation existed!" while watching the opening ceremonies for the Olympics? Well, I am dumb and was surprised and I learned a little about stuff last night as well.
*I was surprised to see the athletes from Iraq there...the last I heard was that they were banned because their government isn't recognized....I was glad that they were able to come even though their country is a mess.
*What's up with Spain? They won Euro Cup, Nadal dethroned Federer (haha) at Wimbledon and a Spaniard won the Tour de France. Well, let's just see how they do in the Olympics!
*It is comforting for me to think that the heavy cloud of pollution is just really fog and mist.
*This is the last year for softball and baseball. Why don't they bring back tug-o-war? I will start training tomorrow!
*What is up with Americans forcing the dumb berets? They look dumb! (Especially on Carmelo Anthony...I love ya man but seriously!)
*Sara Brightman is awesome! I wish I could sing in that ridiculously high octave!
*I love looking at all the nationalities...people are just amazingly beautiful!
*Below are this years Olympic mascots: They carry a message of peace and represent forces of nature...I just say it is better than Hello Kitty!

you're funny! Those were all good points that I didn't think about, well except that every Olympics I wonder why I never heard of half of the countries competing.
