Just Random People!

You know its bad when your husband nags you about how you haven't blogged in a long time....so I am back. This will completely be random though, a lot has been going on.

I have to admit that after my disastrous birthday post I have felt a bit guilty. It was a bad birthday but so many wonderful things happened too...(including vicadin) but seriously, I am so blessed. I had dear friends deliver flowers for me and I still have a birthday date with my husband soon (if we wait much longer we might be celebrating his birthday). Celebrating at my leisure is kinda fun. I might get my haircut and colored or I might just get a massage and facial....it is ridiculous that those are the same price! So, rest assured I am not always an angry person sulking around feeling sorry for myself. In fact, my BFF and I got pedicures a while ago and it was a lot of fun! I also got to buy a new crock pot! (Please refer to a future crock pot entry for all the details). I know...I never thought I would see the day that I would be more excited to get a new crock pot than get my nails done. So all in all life is good!

I guess I should give the Gillian update. Thanks to all of you who gave you awesome advice on her. I really appreciate your thoughts and support. I think we are doing much better with her lately. She has her moments but then again, so do I.

I loved Erin's obedience jar idea and so we made one together. She has a lot fun and the dang thing is almost full! We started out with mini marshmallows and Jake thought that was cruel (I just didn't have any big ones at the time!) so technically it is already full.

We signed her up for a new dance class they have at her school. We had to buy her ballet and tap shoes. I also had to buy her a new leotard because she grew out of her old ones. I also got her a new gymnastic leotard (all of this found out Once Upon a Child) so she is outfitted through the summer at least (I pray!). She is doing really well at school and I am so glad summer is upon us! She can go play outside all day, where she loves to be.

Lincoln update. Seriously, I love this child. He is so sweet and loving. He actually cuddles still. Something I absolutely love. And whats more, Gillian cuddles me because she doesn't want Lincoln to have all the attention. So, Me+Lincoln cuddles=Gillian cuddles too! He has brought such a peaceful feeling into our family. I love it. He is so funny lately. He talks on the phone a lot and he loves to give open mouth kisses...very slimy. He runs a lot, usually chasing after Gillian. He loves to be outside and misses his daddy tremendously when he is gone. He is truly a joy and a treasure.

Haha, Jake is gonna kill me...it was just oo funny though!
