Recently my brother from New Zealand came to visit! I hadn't seen him for a few years and it was great to get to visit! The big occasion occurred when all of my siblings were together for the first time in well....over ten years? Too long anyway. We were able to give Brent an early Thanksgiving Day dinner, go hang out in Denver and attend a Rockies game while he was here to visit. We also shopped but mostly we just hung out and shared stories old and new. It was so much fun.
Unfortunately Danielle, Brent's wife, couldn't come. But for good reason as they are expecting a baby boy in March! I am thrilled and excited to become an Aunt for the first time! It was great for Brent to get to meet Gillian and Lincoln. The last time we saw Brent was a month before I gave birth to Gillian. The kids loved having more family around and I am so thankful we all could get together at the same time! I hope Brent feels the same way! Thanks for coming anyway :)
Here are some pic of our journey.
We took the pictures at the Promenade Shops (where the Super Target is...yes all my reference points surround where a Target is located). It was super windy that day. Brent with Gillian and Lincoln.
I love that in all these sibling shots Summit looks annoyed. From the back: Summit, Brent, Bristol, me and Hillary.
Stinky Summy...seriously this is your family buddy be happy!
We were just missing Hillary's boyfriend John and Brent's wife Danielle (and cute baby bump).
But we did have Jake and Brian there.

I totally yelled at Hillary for wearing her sunglasses and then found it hard to see with the wind blowing in my face so hard!
I love this picture too much...notice Brent with Gillian's headband on.
Mom and Brent again...cute Brent.
Todd Helton's home run at the Rockies game.
Mommy daughter shot...taken in the warm shelter of the family bathroom.
We were lucky another 4 year old sat right next to us. Lincoln never really sat for much longer than 10 minutes at a time so it was nice to have at least one child who could be contained (entertained). Jake was also parent of the year and thought ahead to bring suckers to the game and it definitely saved us!
