Lucy is...

She goes by Lucy, LULU, Sweet Baby Lucy, Cutie Lucy, Sweets just to name a few.  She loves to smile.  She loves to be held...but she doesn't much like to sit up all that long...she prefers to play on the ground while staring up at you.  She loves to sleep warm and cozy in her baby bag nightgown.  She still loves to be swaddled.  She has been sleeping most nights in her carseat but just made the transition to her bed.  She doesn't believe in keeping a schedule...most everyday with her is new.  She hates her reflux medicine and usually spits it out right when you think you have it all in.  She is growing.  She doesn't get tummy time very often...her parents are working on that one.  Of course, she hates the tummy time she rarely gets.  She loves her brother and sister...she smiles at them and coos at them and they eat. it. up.  She is a joy and a treasure and we love her so much.  She got an entire month off from seeing doctors (mommy was very happy).  She will have a cardiology appointment this summer.  She sees her surgeon this Spring.  She is thriving.  She still worries her mother....whenever she coughs...whenever she doens't want to eat occasionally...when she sleeps too long or not long enough.  To look at her, you would never guess she went through the ordeal she did.  She HATES to be bathed.  She keeps me on my toes.  She has had cold after cold since coming home.  Really, she is like a normal baby...She will have trials ahead but for now she is perfect and doing well.  We are truely enjoying having her in our family.
