Seattle Trip...finally. When can I come back?

We had such a good time! We went to the Aquarium, we traveled many a confusing web of highways, byways and streets. We visited the Seattle Space Needle and hung out with Hillary and John. We played hard and ate hard! We had the most expensive meal ever atop the Space Needle. I loved the weather! It was also awesome not having to douse myself with lotion. We traveled to the coast and got to see how beautiful Washington is. Now I am seriously ready to move. I don't care if Jake has to sell out, somehow we have got to move there. There are some drawbacks however. The traffic is RIDICULOUS. I have never seen traffic like that. It isn't always sunny and I have a "thing" about not being depressed. ( I know I am really picky). Also, it isn't the cheapest to live. Other than that, sign me up. Also, I should say another big reason I want to be there is to be close to my sister. Gillian is still really mad we "tricked" her into leaving. Really, I have to say we actually did lie to her. We had to to get her into the plane. She was mighty pissed when we got to our car in the airport parking lot and she asked where the van was (that we rented). She then put her backpack on and started walking away. Jake asked her if she was going to pick a flower and she responded that of course she wasn't, she was walking back to Washington. She was mighty TO'd. I wanted to spend a year on vacation...apparently you aren't really allowed to do that so I came home. Here are some pics of our adventures:

We loved staying in a hotel room for a week. (Well, I did) Gillian loved to play with Lincoln and watch tv in bed. It was fun.

This is us at the aquarium. It was a lot of fun. If you notice, that is Gillian on a leash! That was a nightmare, but at least she didn't run into the ocean, we saved her from herself.

Gillian as Octopus.

This was a really cool part of the aquarium. It was really neat to have this go all the way over your head. Below is a picture of Hillary and John at the Crabpot..a must eat place in Seattle. They were pretending to be us: tourists in Seattle taking dumb pictures instead of people who live there who really aren't that dumb. Thanks guys.

Here we are above and below at Pike Place Market. It was surreal to say the least. That is what it looks like from the outside. Below, it what it looks like inside. Busy cramped and scary.......but cool.

This was just cool. Yeah, just take an umbrella and bring it back when your done. So awesome.

Atop the Space Needle. Let me tell you how much I hated being on the observation deck. Yikes. You can probably see a little tension in my face below. Jake, of course, loved it. (not the tension but actually being there with me =)) We had lunch there to celebrate our anniversary. We have been together 10 years (June 30th) and married 7years. We decided to get married on our dating anniversary because we are dorks and didn't need one more thing to remember.
